Melvin Guillard proved that he was a force to be reckoned with in the Lightweight Bouts division as he took down Gabe Ruediger at UFC® 63. Guillard dictated the pace early to the UFC® newcomer with Ruediger turning the tables on Guillard in the second half of the first round. Guillard rebounded in the second round with some help from his corner Tito Ortiz and was able to defeat Ruediger with a shot to the stomach.
