Two premier heavyweights of this era will meet in Brisbane, Australia, as “The Super Samoan” Mark Hunt faces former two-time UFC heavyweight champion Frank Mir. Still one of the most potent punchers in the sport, the 41-year-old Hunt knocked out Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva in fewer than four minutes in their anticipated UFC 193 rematch, and the Sydney resident would like nothing better than to build on that victory. Mir’s storied career continues to add compelling chapters, as he has won two of his past three bouts, knocking out Silva and Todd Duffee. Plus, former Cuban Olympian Hector Lombard returns to his adopted home country of Australia to face off with surging welterweight contender Neil Magny.
